1. The short version
We set nothing that needs your consent unless you give it.No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and nothing sold or shared with a data broker. A few small entries in your browser'slocal storage remember interface preferences and never leave your device.
If you choose Accept all in our privacy prompt, we also set two first-party cookies so we can measure which pages get read and improve them. That measurement goes to our own system, not to a third-party analytics company. Choose Essential only and they are never set. You can change your mind at any time using the button insection 6.
One exception, and we would rather state it than let you find it: ourContact page embeds a Google Map. That embed is served by Google and can set Google's own cookiesin your browser, outside our control. It is the only third party on this site that does. If you would prefer to avoid it, you can reach us using the phone, email and address details on that page without loading the map — seesection 5.
2. What's the difference?
Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser and that are sent back to servers with every request — which is why they can be used to track you. Local storage also lives in your browser, but its contents arenot transmitted to us or anyone else; the page simply reads them on your own device.
3. Local storage we use

All three are strictly functional and are stored whichever choice you make. Clearing your browser's site data removes them; the site keeps working and simply falls back to defaults.
4. Cookies we set — only with your consent
These are set only after you choose “Accept all”. They contain a random identifier and nothing else — no name, no email, no address. We use them to count visits and see which pages are read.

Your IP address is not stored. It is shortened to a coarse network range for approximate country only, and the full address is never written down. Where you arrived from is recorded as the site name alone (for example google.com) — never the full link, which could contain someone's search terms.
5. Third-party requests
Some resources are loaded from third parties, which means your browser makes a request to their servers (disclosing your IP address, as with any web request):
- Google Maps — the map embedded on our Contact page. This is the one third party here that can set its own cookies in your browser. It loads only on that page, and only Google can read what it sets.
- Google Fonts — serves the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces. Google's CSS API does not set cookies.
- Web3Forms — receives the enquiry form only when you press Send; see the Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp — our chat button is a plain link; nothing loads from Meta unless you tap it, at which point you leave this site.
6. Your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Re-opening the prompt lets you switch between Accept all and Essential only; choosing Essential only removes the measurement cookies and reloads the page so the change takes effect immediately.
7. If this ever changes
If we introduce another service that sets cookies — embedded video, a third-party chat widget — we will update this page, revise the date above, and where required ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
